Knowledge Management Tools Suite

The suite of tools developed include KM Tools Suite - DiskBee, TaxoConsolidator, WebBee and EmailBee - are a variety of software tools that aid in data mining, organizing information for taxonomy development and data translations.

 
Radio Automation Support System

RealTech developed a high profile custom support application for Radio Automation for a government client. Developed on Lotus Domino groupware platform it tracks the calls from 7000+ users. It is integrated with a back-end inventory management system based on a proprietary SQL Server product. Its web-based knowledge-base is exposed on the company's intranet for easy access to knowledge consumption and creation.

 
Analysis of Human Resource Employee Evaluation System

RealTech used its RealInsight analysis methodology in analyzing IBM's Human Resource evaluation system that is used by ALL employees of IBM worldwide. RealTech recommendations were considered as significantly productive and IBM changed some of the system processes based on these recommendations.

RealTech developed a custom software package for project management and time tracking. It is a web based software product to track the time and effort of every person in a project. It provides detailed reports to the Project Manager regarding the resources used and unused, during the course of the project.

RealTech participated in developing this complex system, which is used by the CEO and Presidents of all business units of this major company (categorized as Fortune 10 company). The application enables the executives to collaborate on decisions and action items during and after meetings and conferences. The system has highly customized security features and is currently used by the executives of this company on their intranet.

 
Out-Patient Tracking System

RealTech architected and developed a web-based outpatient care tracking system for a major hospital in Boston. This system automated the process of out-patient care from check-in, diagnosis, treatment, repeat visits, insurance and check-out of clients.

RealTech participated in architecting and developing a detective case management system for the State Police. This system helps detectives to manage their individual cases. The system involved tight security features, and streamlined complex workflow processes that detectives use to build a case. It was both a notes based solution and a web application.

Developed and deployed an Agency Support Automation system that facilitated the workflow processes of insurance agents for one of the largest insurance companies in the United States.     RealTech helped develop a web-based Knowledge Management solution for a large film/camera manufacturer. The solution was built on top of a packaged knowledge management solution from a leading provider of knowledge-based solutions, Synergistics Inc.

    RealTech developed a web-based solution for another major insurance company in the United States. The web solution enables remote agency offices to tap into a central repository of policy/procedure documentation. The system also disburses changes in policies and procedures to its remote clients.

     
    Human Resources Management System

    RealTech consulted for and tailored a custom solution for this leading data and information-processing client. The system, which automates resume management and hiring, was entirely written in formula language of Lotus Notes. Formula Language was a development language in an earlier version of Lotus Notes and is very difficult to maintain. RealTech's highly skilled consultants not only enhanced the system but also maintained it for the client.

    This useful tool developed by RealTech is used in many of our projects to transfer data to and from different databases, especially the proprietary Notes Domino databases and ODBC compliant databases like Access, SQL Server, Oracle etc. Such data transfer tools are available in the market but they are very expensive in most cases. RealTech's solution has proved to many clients to be a cost-effect solution to meet their data transfer and management needs.
